Study Abroad Programs

The Fowler College of Business Administration offers several different types of study abroad programs for lower division, undergraduate and graduate business students. 

  •  If you participate in this program, the tuition would be paid at SDSU. If you're receiving financial aid, it would apply to this program.
  • Depending on the location, semester long or year long programs are available.
  • A minimum GPA of 2.5 is required.
  • Application deadline for studying abroad in Fall semester is 1st March and for Spring is 1st October.
  • Some programs require a Preliminary Application. These applications are due on 20th February for Fall and on 20th September for Spring.
  • The cost of these programs would be the tuition paid at SDSU plus the cost of living in the country of your choice. 

 

  • ISEP is designed so that students exchanged throughout the ISEP network pay all of their fees, including room and board, to their home institution, in this case SDSU, and take a place at a host institution, with no money changing hands.
  • In most cases, ISEP participants are matriculated directly into the host institution and pursue courses with native students. If you're receiving financial aid, it would apply to this program.
  • A minimum GPA of 2.75 is required.
  • Applications for priority considerations are due on 15th January for Fall Semester, 15th August for Spring semester and 15th April for Summer. 
  • Please note that these are priority deadlines for the most competitive sites. Some sites may still be available after these deadlines. Consult the Education Abroad Office for details.
  • The cost of ISEP programs is about $5,200 per semester plus the SDSU tuition.

  • All programs are a year long.
  • Program structure varies with location, some include intensive pre-session language course.
  • Tuition is paid at SDSU. Resident Credit, Financial Aid and Scholarships apply to this program.
  • A minimum GPA of 2.75 is required for most programs.
  • Applications are due on 1st February for Fall or Spring semester and on 1st May for Fall or Spring semester in Australia and New Zealand
  • These are programs that are offered through various entities and are independent of Fowler College of Business.
  • Students must submit course descriptions to the chairs of the individual departments for which students wish to seek academic credit.
  • Tuition is paid directly at the host university.
  • Students arrange, with the help of Fowler College of Business Study Abroad office, academic credit.
  • This is the most expensive of all programs and the least competitive.
  • A minimum GPA of 2.5 is required.

  • The cost of this program is between $1500 and $3000 depending on the program.
